there were. Klaus had compelled Damon for a while so he couldn't have sex -- not even when people came onto him because it was his month. As soon as I figured it out I told Stefan and Stefan made a deal with Nik for his brother's freedom

it worked out okay for me as Nik's conditions were that Stefan keeps me happy and healthy. Not that I want Nik poking around my sex life but Stefan assures me it didn't change anything he wasn't already planning on.
