[he doesn't send any reply to that. not this time. instead, isaac spends all too long a time forcing himself to get out of his bed. to take on the freezing temperature and step out in to the dry heat of the hallway. from one extreme to the other, though he knows it shouldn't take long for his body to get used to the shift in temperature. it just hurts, right down to his bone, in a way that his healing has no chance of overcoming. all he can do is grit his teeth and wait it out.
