[there's a part of him that wants to refuse, simply because he wants to see hayley take something off first. but the fact she's relaxing, the fact she's purposely watching him. it's enough to keep that request to himself.
well, he's at least toeing off his shoes for now.]
You didn't even say please.
[though given the fact he's working on the fastening of his belt now, that "please" is clearly not necessary. although--]
I guess you could always help me out to make up for it.
[he doesn't even attempt to pull his belt free. he knows he'd make a mess of it. that she'd probably just end up laughing at him once he got himself stuck. so instead, it's on to the flies of his jeans, unfastening them so he can let them drop, before he's stepping out of them. there's a brief, awkward moment as he pulls his socks off too. even he isn't naive enough to believe there's any good way to take them off in front of another person.
down to his underwear now, isaac gives hayley a cocky grin, stepping forward moments later so he can climb on to the bed, a knee pressing either side of her legs. far enough down that, when he takes ahold of her waist and tugs her down the bed, it leaves him in just the right position to leave them face to face when he finally leans in close.]
[There's a tiny sound that she makes when he pulls her down the bed, toward himself. It's more out of surprise than anything and considering the smile she has plastered to her features, it's clear that she's not upset with him.]
Hi. [Hayley says it with enough intent behind the single syllable word to give Isaac the impression that she's definitely okay with the progression of these events.]
[he takes a long, careful look down the length of her body, an arm pressing to the mattress beside her head. it frees up his other hand. leaves him able to let his fingers slip beneath the fabric of her shirt. to brush across her skin as they pull the material upwards. he's not making much of an effort to take it off, but it's at least enough to reveal more bare flesh. to give him something to focus on. this is about more than just sex now, and he needs to remember that.]
[Even if he isn't making the quick effort to remove her clothing, Hayley has no issue finishing what he started by removing her shirt. She drops it to the floor and when her hand is empty she brings it up to brush against his jaw. There's something in the way he's looking at her that seems a bit more real than before. Maybe it's because of the conversation they just had, but she feels a new level of trust with him.]
I know you've seen the werewolf of me, but if you ever wanted to see the vampire side - you know I'd never hurt you. [But she can actually hear his blood flow, right now, which is so different than just being able to hear his heartbeat -- so it's something she feels she has to at least mention.]
I know. [that she wouldn't hurt him. that he's safe around her. it's something she's proved countless times already, even when he'd been acting his worst towards her. he's been an ass, had pushed her further than she'd deserved, and still she'd never once raised a finger against him.]
I'm not scared of you. [a pause, and a more serene smile.] I trust you.
[he doesn't know how clear he's made it before. doesn't know if she's aware of just how much he does. it's a level beyond anything he shares with the remains of his pack. something only rivaled by him.]
[She believes him, despite everything, she believes him. She asks him, much more plainly, if he wants to see this side of her. She's not worried of his answer, if he'll say no or yes. When he agrees, when he says that he wants to see it, she feels that moment of relief.
It doesn't take much. The close proximity of Isaac, the warmth of his body. He's practically a beacon for the darker urges that she keeps at bay. Her the color of her irises flash with the brilliant golden and dark hints of brown as the veins beneath her eyes start to draw blood upward. It darkens the whites of her eyes, floods them with darkness. Her lips part and she shows him the sharper fangs that drop seem to elongate from nowhere. It's so different from the wolf, from the complete transformation she makes. This is simply just a change, something subtle that can easily be kept to herself.]
[it isn't the first time he's seen a vampire from her world transform. but it's definitely the first time its happened so close to him. the first time that he's actually able to touch. lifting a hand to her face, he traces a finger over the tracks beneath her eyes, curiosity being enough to but a (brief) halt to the former proceedings.
there's a level of familiarity with her shift. with the fact it's only a change of features. if anything, this is more like his own transformation than her werewolf change is. it's not as extreme.
he smiles down at her as he draws his hand back, gaze flicking to her mouth. to the fangs peeking through.]
How hard is it? [wait-- that could mean anything.] Staying in control, I mean. [because he remembers what it was like when he was first bitten. and he hadn't had to deal with the need to feed on blood.]
[A smirk flashes on her features as he clarifies what he's trying to reference with his question.]
It's easier here. [Being on the ship has less complications, less people wanting to hurt her -- her child. The anger she felt when she first came back has had time to temper, to calm itself because there's nothing for her to do here. No Hope to protect, no Klaus to argue with over the safety of that child -- there's just space and the infinite nothing that comes with it.]
The wolf side keeps the hunger at bay and the rest of my senses just benefit from the vampire side. Where I used to just listen to the uptick of a heartbeat, now I can hear the flow of blood. It's an adjustment, but everything usually is. [She lets her fangs retract and her features return to normal, the darkness withdrawing from her eyes with a single blink. As if she just turns it off.]

What a creative choice. [She's teasing, but she's also not complaining.]
Don't stop on my account. [Hayley will just lean back for the moment.]

I don't know, you seem to be doing an excellent job at the moment. I'd hate to slow you down.
